Grace Crossing Ministry Profile
"DISCOVERING YOUR PERSONAL MINISTRY"
Ministry of interest:
General Interest
INSTRUCTIONS
To find a good fit when volunteering in ministry, please complete the following Ministry Profile. You may then volunteer for the specific ministries of your choice, or elect to have someone call you to discuss places where your abilities are most needed. This Ministry Profile will help our ministry leaders know how to best utilize your abilities; once you have completed it, someone will contact you very soon, so that you can get started. In some cases, training is made available, or required, in advance of serving.
If you would like additional information about spiritual gifts to use in completing the Ministry Profile, you can take a spiritual gifts survey first. Then, you can return to this page and complete the Ministry Profile.
If you have questions about this profile, you may email Eddie Boyer, our Connecting Minister.
None of your responses are mandatory and all information collected will be kept safe, private and confidential. They will be shared only with leaders of ministries in which you desire to volunteer.
PLEASE NOTE: There are no incorrect answers; rather, this is about discovering who God has made you to be and where you might enjoy serving in ministry. So, relax and enjoy the journey of discovery that awaits you!

PERSONALITY

|
Instructions:
Mark on the scales below the relative strength of each personality trait:
1. Where do I get my energy?
Extrovert: I get energy from others. People re-charge me.
Introvert: I get energy from myself.
People drain me; being alone recharges me.

2. How do I make decisions?
Thinker: I base judgments more on impersonal analysis than on
personal values. I am objective and need the facts.
Feeler: I base judgments more on personal values than on impersonal
analysis and logic. I am intuitive and subjective. I just feel the
right thing to do.

3. What kind of tasks do I prefer?
Routine: I like the predictable and standard way of doing something. I do
not like to do new things, and it takes me time to get used to
change.
Variety: I like unpredictable and new ways of doing things. I like
change and diversity. For me, variety is the spice of life.

4. How do I like to express myself?
Self-controlled: I like to be in control of myself in my speech, facial expression,
physical reaction and mood. I want to b in control of my manner
& expression in all situations.
Self-expressive: I like to be open and outgoing and say what is on my mind. I
want others to know what is on my mind and how I feel. I like
to “let it all hang out.”

5. How do I relate to other people?
Cooperative: I like to share and be helpful. I prefer to agree and do everything
together at the same time. I don’t like to compete all the time.
Competitive: I like to compete against goals and objectives. I like to “shoot for
the top ring.” Competition “turns me on!”
